Mark & Jennifer Ellis
Mark and Jennifer have attended Byram's Chapel since have been the Youth Pastors since the beginning of 2019. While they have been a part of the congregation for much longer than that. Parenting 3 boys has equipped them for all the shenanigans that come with ministering to teenagers. With hearts that lean on the spiritual guiding of the Holy Spirit and their loving nature, they have nurtured our teens to become more open/active in their relationship with Christ as well as the Church Body. They live in Franklin, KY with their 3 boys and Mark also serves as the electric guitar player on the worship team.
The Remnants are a rag-tag group of worshippers who identify with the ideology of Matthew 3:3. Our purpose is to lead our congregation in "clearing the path" and engaging with them in worship. We identify with John the Baptist who lived on the outskirts clothed in camels hair. We are the worshippers who simply point and say "Prepare the way for our Lord". Some of us use voices and others use instruments, but we ALL feel inadequate, which is why we praise under the banner of the Word which says "In our weakness HE IS STRONG". We are scraps. We are Leftovers. We are children of the Most high God. We are the Remnants.
